Kardian Somily and what comes in the box
A small disc on the wall reads your resting heart rate and breathing through the duvet.
Each morning: last night, beside your usual.
A general wellness product, not a medical device. Readings are not FDA-cleared, it does not diagnose, and it is not an alarm. Not the XK300 Essence and not equivalent to it.
Somily is in new packaging for its first consumer run of 4,000 units, shipping in November. When those are gone, the two-years-of-Max offer ends with them. Hold your place now, or ask us to tell you when it is in stock.
Every morning, a clear picture of the night on your phone. No guesswork, no marks on your wrist.
Read from the chest through the night, thousands of times, while you are still. Not a wrist estimate.
How long you slept, when you were in bed, and how restless the whole body was, head to toe.
Last night next to your last seven and fourteen, so a drift stands out. Your usual, not a population average.
Set the ranges you care about and get a notification when a reading falls outside them. Share the view with a family member or caregiver.
A notification describes a change from your usual. It does not diagnose it, and it is not an alarm.
Sleep, breathing, resting heart rate and how settled the night was, with each night beside your own recent ones. A weekly view when you want the longer story. Free, on your phone.

A ring or a watch estimates your heart from the pulse at your finger or wrist. Somily measures the beat itself, as the movement of your chest, and follows how cleanly and regularly it comes through, night after night, beside your own recent nights. No wearable makes this reading.
Two nights can average the same breaths per minute and feel nothing alike. Somily keeps the spacing between breaths, not just the count.
The film explains what the radar measures and how that differs from a wearable. In Somily, breathing rhythm is a wellness trend and Heartbeat Clarity is investigational; neither is an FDA-cleared measurement, and Somily does not diagnose.
Radar physics in plain words, the peer-reviewed accuracy studies, FDA and international clearances, the outcomes record, and what we still do not have. Every figure names its source.

Wall-mount near the bed, plug it in, download the free XKare app. It starts working that night.
Two strips of tape, one cable to a USB plug. Then go to sleep.

About 1.5 metres from the floor, on your side of the bed. If you share the bed, left or right above you. If you sleep alone, the centre.

It does not have to sit high. Closer to the body, just above the mattress, keeps the cable out of sight.

Out of sight between the wall and the headboard, as long as the bed does not need to sit flush to the wall and the headboard is not a solid metal plate.
Larry and Susan bought the sensor and have lived with it at home for months. Precious Myers Brown uses it in the facilities she runs. Dr. Serrano is a physician whose facilities use the clinical XK300. Courtney lived with the sensor for several weeks and was compensated for her time. Each speaks from their own experience; none was scripted.
The basics, straight to your phone, for as long as you own Somily.
Every night, compared with your own. After that, $6 a month only if you choose to keep it.
They are different products. The XK300 Essence is an FDA-cleared, prescription medical device supplied through a care provider. Kardian Somily is a general wellness product built on the same underlying radar technology, sold for your own bedroom without a prescription. It is not FDA-cleared and makes no claim to be equivalent to the Essence.
No. Keep it. A ring is good at daytime activity, HRV, skin temperature and sleep stages; we do not do those. We measure breathing and resting heart rate from the chest, through bedding, with nothing worn, and compare each night with your own. Read both in the morning. The side-by-side.
It collects from the closest body. Mount it above your side of the bed, left or right, and it reads you. Two people, one sensor each, above each side, each paired to its own person in the app. Hugging or drifting over for a while is fine: if it picks up two sets of vital signs it pauses, and with thousands of readings a night, a couple of hours on the wrong side barely moves your baseline. See the two-sensor bedroom.
Yes. The free plan works from day one over Bluetooth. Max switches on in the app whenever you want it, and it is included for two years with every Somily under the current promotion.
Not on the free plan. Max sends your nights to the cloud over Wi-Fi so the app can compare them and answer questions.
Yes. You have 30 nights at home from delivery. If it is not for you, send it back in its box for a refund of the purchase price, less return shipping: $15 within the United States, or the carrier's actual cost if you are returning it from another country. Before it ships, a reservation can be cancelled at any time for a full refund.
Yes. Somily is HSA and FSA eligible in the United States. Keep your receipt; your plan administrator has the final say.
No. There is no lens and no microphone. Radar reads movement. It cannot see a face or hear a word.
