This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers, which is why there is no cookie banner. We count visits with Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service that uses no cookies and stores no personal data: it records page views, referrers and the country of the visit, in aggregate only.
Contact form. The name, email address and message you send are delivered to us through our hosting provider (Netlify) and kept so we can reply.
Ask XK-AI. The questions you type or speak are sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate an answer. They are not used to train AI models. Voice input is transcribed by your browser; we do not receive audio. Please do not enter personal health details.
Hosting logs. Like any website, our host records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
Films are hosted on Vimeo and YouTube and load only when you press play. We use Vimeo's do-not-track setting and YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. Their own privacy policies apply once a film is playing.
Data from a Kardian sensor and the Kardian app is covered by the privacy notice you accept in the app, not by this site notice. For the XK300 Essence, your care provider's privacy notice also applies.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to us through the contact form. Residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea and California have additional rights under local law, which we honour.
Mount it as shown in the setup guide, using the supplied tape or a screw, out of reach of small children. Power it only from the supplied USB adapter. Do not open the housing. Keep it dry. The radar emits far less energy than a Wi-Fi router and has no known effect on pacemakers or other implants, but if you have any concern, ask your care provider.
No Kardian product is an emergency-detection or alarm system. If you think you or someone else is having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
If a Kardian device does not work as described, or you believe it contributed to a health problem, tell us through the contact form. For the XK300 Essence, also tell your care provider.
The people in the "In their words" films describe their own experience of a Kardian sensor, and none was scripted. Larry and Susan bought the sensor and have used it at home for months. Precious Myers Brown, Chief Innovation and Dream Officer at Vista Supports, uses it in the facilities she runs. Dr. Noel Serrano is a physician, Medical Director of Broadway Villa Post Acute, who provides care to seven skilled-nursing facilities in California that use the clinical XK300. Courtney lived with the sensor for several weeks and was compensated for her time; what she says is her own view.
